What is the Office of the Training Accreditation Council?
The Office of the Training Accreditation Council (OTAC), was established
to provide secretariat services to the Training Accreditation Council. The Office:
- Provides policy advice and assistance on: (1) registration
related matters to potential and existing Registered Training Organisations
and (2) accreditation related matters to potential and
existing organisations.
- Processes applications from organisations seeking registration
and/or accreditation of courses under the Australian Quality
Training Framework.
- Provides advice and assistance regarding the delivery
and assessment of nationally recognised training.
- Develops State policies in respect to the delivery and
assessment of nationally recognised training.
- Assists in the development of departmental policies.
