When will my RTO be audited?

The AQTF requires that training organisations are audited:

  • when it first applies for registration;
  • within the first 12 months of initial registration;
  • at other times to confirm compliance with the AQTF such as when an RTO amends its Scope of Registration, in response to complaints, or as determined by state or national strategic audit requirements;
  • at renewal of registration (every five years); and
  • to confirm compliance with the Western Australian Department of Training and Workforce Development's Delivery and Performance Agreement where an RTO has been contracted to deliver training by the Department.
