Do I need to have the permission of a course owner to use their course?

Yes. RTOs who wish to deliver an accredited course must first obtain permission from the course owner (copyright holder).

How can I get permission for use of the West Australian Crown Copyright Curriculum?

To obtain permission to use curriculum wholly owned by the crown of Western Australia you must be a Registered Training Organisation with the appropriate scope to deliver the training. The Department of Education and Training's ownership must be acknowledged in any printed material in relation to the curriculum.

For further information on obtaining permission please contact VET Teaching and Learning on (08) 9229 5424.
