As part of its Education Program, the Training Accreditation Council is pleased to offer its next FREE workshop opportunities. 

 

 

Becoming an RTO - Information Session

Tuesday 30 July 2019, 10:00 am – 11:00 am

 

Want to be a registered training organisation (RTO) but don’t know where to start? This session is for you!

 

The Training Accreditation Council encourages you to attend this interactive one hour online session which provides entry level information on applying to become an RTO. By the end of the session, participants will have an understanding of the vocational education and training regulatory system, the process for becoming an RTO, the benefits of becoming an RTO and an overview of the requirements for RTOs as provided by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) 2015.

Assessment Part II - Designing and Using Assessment Tools

Tuesday 6 August 2019, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Wednesday 7 August 2019, 9:00am – 1:00pm (repeat session)

 

This session is the second in a series of three presented by TAC throughout 2019 that focus on each stage of the assessment process.

 

As assessments are used to determine a learner’s competence, RTOs must ensure their assessment tools are developed to meet all unit or module assessment requirements and the Standards for RTOs.

 

This session provides both practical and specific information on the design and development of assessment tools to gather evidence that can be used to make judgements of competence.

 

This four hour session will be run twice, once on Tuesday 6 August and then repeated on Wednesday 7 August. Attendance can either be in person at the face to face workshop or log in to the online webinar.
