Notification of Changes to Course Accreditation Arrangements September 2015

 

Course owners are advised of the following changes to the arrangements for course accreditation applications:

 

Revised application forms for course accreditation/reaccreditation

The ACC1 Application for Accreditation/Reaccreditation Form has been revised for clarity and ease of use by course owners. Some of the information previously included has now been placed into two new documents:

  • Course Document template
  • Unit of Competency template

 

These new documents must now be completed as part of an application for course accreditation or reaccreditation. The templates contain more explicit guidance to help applicants prepare their submissions and understand the requirements of the Standards for Accredited Courses.

 

Revised application form for amendment to accredited course

The ACC2 Application for Amendment to Accredited Course Form has been revised to clarify the changes a course owner is able to make with an application for course amendment. The form now provides examples of major changes that will alter the original intent or outcome of a course and will instead require submission of an application for course reaccreditation.
