2015 Strategic Industry Audit of Units that Lead to High Risk Work Licences in Western Australia

In April 2015, the Training Accreditation Council endorsed a Strategic Industry Audit (SIA) into the delivery of units of competency that lead to high risk work licences (HRWLs) in WA. The first Reference Group meeting was held on 2 July 2015, to discuss issues impacting on the delivery of units of competency that lead to HRWLs in WA and establish the scope of the SIA.  The Reference Group consists of relevant stakeholders including Training Councils, industry associations, employers and licensing and regulatory bodies.   It is anticipated RTOs who have been selected as part of the audit sample will be contacted over the coming weeks, with audits being undertaken in August.  The final report will be released in October 2015.
