What is the Training Accreditation Council Secretariat?

The Training Accreditation Council Secretariat (TACS), was established to provide support services to the Training Accreditation Council. The Secretariat:

• Provides policy advice and assistance on: (1) registration related matters to potential and existing Registered Training Organisations and (2) accreditation related matters to potential and existing organisations.
• Processes applications from organisations seeking registration and/or accreditation of courses under the Australian Quality Training Framework.
• Provides advice and assistance regarding the delivery and assessment of nationally recognised training.
• Develops State policies in respect to the delivery and assessment of nationally recognised training.
• Assists in the development of departmental policies.
