Want to be a registered training organisation (RTO) but don't know where to start? Then the Becoming an RTO Information Session is for you!

If you are considering becoming an RTO, the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) Secretariat encourages you to attend this interactive online session which provides entry level information on applying to become an RTO. The webinar will not be addressing compliance with the regulatory standards.​

This FREE session is run by TAC Secretariat staff and provides information on the:

  • vocational education and training regulatory system;
  • benefits of becoming an RTO;
  • requirements of being an RTO; and
  • process for becoming an RTO including:
    • pre-registration requirements;
    • initial registration application process;
    • initial registration audit process; and
    • obligations once an RTO.

Undergoing an RTO Audit can be a stressful experience, but it doesn't have to be if you are well informed and prepared for the audit. The aim of this webinar is to provide you with information that will help you to understand why and how the Training Accreditation Council implements the audit process and what you can do to help make the experience a positive one for your organisation. This webinar is run by TAC auditors and introduces you to information and resources that you can use to help with audit preparations, to participate in the audit effectively, as well as how to approach your audit results. The webinar does not address compliance with the regulatory standards.  

The webinar will be interactive so please be willing to contribute. In order to make the most of the webinar please make sure that you are familiar with the preparatory materials that will be forwarded to you once you have registered.

The aim of this webinar is to provide you with information that will help you to understand why and how the Training Accreditation Council implements the course accreditation process and what you can do to help make the experience a positive one for your organisation. This webinar is run by TAC auditors and reviewers and will introduce you to information and resources that you can use to help with each stage of the accreditation process as well as highlight common issues that organisations experience throughout the process.
